DNA is a language system that shows intelligence and could NOT arise by chance. It has words, sentences using only 4 letters... If we wrote out a humans DNA it would fill 600 books of 1000 pages each. Here is an illustration why it couldn't develop by chance. Since the letters have meaning they MUST be in a specific order. If we try to select them from the four it is one chance in 4, but as we add letters it becomes; 1 in 4 times 1 in 4 times 1 in 4... Mathematically it looks like this (1/4) to the N power. This number very quickly becomes enormous odds against a specific order. Only 15 letters will take us to odds on 1 in 2.6 billion and there are several BILLION letters in human DNA. How, then, can humanity, and, in fact, all biology, be as genetically healthy and sustainable as we seem to be if we can trace our ancestry as humans back to two individuals and the same is true for the beasts of the land. To take the Bible literally in the manner that you do would suggest that the land animals including ourselves are fundamentally inbred. A question I give to you is this: how can one go from such a small gene pool only a few millennia ago to the wondrous and awesome diversity we have, not merely in a gross biological sense, but also in the sense of human variety. I would say that the question of melanin concentration and variety among human beings presents a thorny problem for you out there in creationist land who want to explain away all the questions of man using an ancient text and some faulty logic.
Answer: Your grasp of genetics has been influenced by evolution against the findings of observational science. The genetic trend is always downward NEVER upward. Darwin's finches are the result of loss of information in a broad creature that narrowed down to all the different types today. Go to websites about his finches and see. They say all those different ones came from one "original". This is a narrowing of genetic diversity not a broadening. This is the Bibles model, a very broad created creature (dominant and recessive in every gene) looses information as it reproduces and radiates downward to the adapted creatures in various environments. The Bible is substantiated and evolution shown to be opposed to observational science.
Did God Create and use Evolution? Because if evolution is small changes, living things change all the time. The part of evolution that involves small changes in living things is called microevolution and it is a real process in nature. It does not explain the large changes in living things from one kind to another. This involves increasing the information in the living things, which DOES NOT happen in nature. All the processes of adaptation are losses of information and NEVER increases in information. I believe God did not use evolution.
