SUICIDE & GRIEVING.

Suicide’s Aftermath! Three Griefs More! Christian Couple's Compounded Grief for a Loved One's Suicide.  Charlie & Terry Liebert both became Christians in their mid-life in their 30s. Now 80 and 75, after 53 years of marriage, they face their greatest life tragedy, the unexpected suicide death of their son at 51 years old. Journey together with them as they agonize through three more levels of grief.

  • Grieving for a sudden unexpected death, recognizing the source of death from the Scriptures, SIN. DEATH is transitory. It had a beginning (Genesis 3) and a definite end (Revelation 20).
  • Grieving for one's death by suicide and its unique impact on the survivors. Asking the "WHY" question. “Why did he/she die by suicide?”  The shame of Suicide?
  • Grieving as Christians for the death of one who never made a profession of faith in Christ. Where are they now?  HEAVEN or HELL?  YOU can’t change it.  Leave that decision to God.

The Memory Tree A Gospel Christmas Story. A great read for families at Christmas gatherings that takes 15-20  minutes to read. For all ages. It presents the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Can a Christmas tree planted in memory of Ruth and Barry’s grandfather speak to their father Harry? Harry’s been bitter for years about the death of his wife Charlotte on Christmas years before. He asks, “How could a God that loves us let Charlotte die?” He never got an answer he could accept until he told the story about the memory tree.

"Why did one have to die for the other to live?" He asked the children, unsure himself of the answer. All the bitterness of all the years seemed to come back suddenly and he began to feel tears well up in his eyes.

"That's what Charlotte said, 'He had to die to give us life,'" he almost shouted. He now understood that the tree had a message for him all along. All these years he hadn't seen it. Jesus had to die so we could live. We couldn't sacrifice ourselves, we weren't worthy, but He was. Now it was all clear, Jesus had died to give him life. "O Lord how could I have been so blind!! I need you, Jesus,” he thought.
Richard Slazer was reading in John when he heard the tree fall. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone; but if it dies it brings forth much fruit." He got up from his chair and went out into the yard to look at the fallen tree. As he looked at the base where it had cracked and broken. He noticed a tiny branch poking its head up through the soil right next to the broken stump.   Perhaps a new tree will grow in its place, he thought, as he hurried in to escape the coming storm.

Roman Centurions' Stories The events of Jesus' life as seen through the eyes of Judea's Occupiers. Creative Historical Fiction. Events of Jesus’ life are historically accurate, quoted directly, without revision, from the World English Version (Public Domain).
The Centurions' stories are fictional, embellished with details to enhance readability, and created as a vehicle to tell of Jesus’ life. They are introduced by Senior Officer Karis Keynay Populous, commander of a Cohort (700-800 soldiers) of the Roman Army occupying Judea. During a meal with his six Centurions, he asks each one what he knows about Jesus. The six Centurions tell their stories taken from Scripture which is printed in italics to separate the story of Jesus from the fictional Centurion narrative. The centurions telling their stories are; 1) Marcus, 2) Dimitri, 3) Cassius brother of Centurion Lucius, 4) Maximus with testimony from his brother-in-law Zachariah a Jewish priest, 5) Gaius and 6) Julius. This book is produced as a tool for personal evangelism for family, friends, and acquaintances. The Centurion pictures are the author dressed to role-play Greek-born Senior Centurion Karis Keynay Populous.
